| This is the Storage Room, a building with a very checkered past. Try as I might, I couldn't discover much about it. This is yet another expedition prompted by info from my Source in the Falls, Wade (pictured mowing the snow). The last known use for the building was as a storage facility as the name suggests. A fire on the second floor put the company out of business and it has sat vacant since. Whoever owns it has made attempts to keep trespassers out, but not the elements. Walking through the remnants of other people's lives was a little eerie; melted toys, burned teddy bears. Occasional piles of 50 gallon drums and various stripped cars made the whole scene even more surreal. Beautiful site for photos, and an ideal subject in my quest to make the ugly beautiful. |
