Meyer Malting looms over the West Side of Buffalo, the tallest building until you get downtown. Looking out my window I can see it on the horizon, only a few blocks away. Though abandoned since the late 1980's, it's still an impressive sight. Last winter I made it into the sub-basement, but didn't dare go any further alone. Bit sketchy. Re-visiting it, I was astounded by what I discovered inside, a veritable art gallery! Graffiti covers just about every surface, much of it very good. The place is labyrinth of machinery and dead end corridors. Everywhere you turn there are tags. It's a beautiful place to explore, just don't get caught inside...
